Madden 25 will have special features new to the game specifically designed thanks to Xbox One and PS4. Line play is the foundation of Madden and now offensive linemen can shift and sort based on threats. Ignite Engine will allow for a better look fot players, and the AI will look and think more like the players. It will also feature Minnesota’s Vikings running back Adrian “Purple Jesus” Peterson on the cover. A video is below.

Front the cash for Madden NFL 25 at GameStop before release date and you’ll receive three classic 49ers players for Connected Franchise and Ultimate Team mode – former owner Eddie DeBartolo Jr, former coach Bill Walsh and four-time Super Bowl champion quarterback Joe Montana, according to Joystiq. Madden 25 celebrates the franchise’s anniversary, and hits PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360 in late August. A special Anniversary Edition is available.

EA has confirmed that it’s not currently working on any Wii U titles, and this includes FIFA 14 and the previously announced skip of Madden 25.

This year’s Madden game is a bit special; rather than a yearly update, it celebrates the 25th anniversary of the franchise as a whole. EA Sports is looking for the perfect cover star to convey Madden 25′s emphasis on the history of the series, and as such, has opened fan voting on two brackets of new and classic players for your consideration. Votes can be cast through ESPN’s web portal or via live Twitter voting during SportsNation on Tuesday afternoons. Regular polls will run until April 24, and the first round of competition pits Curtis Martin against Jerome Bettis, and Von Miller against Victor Cruz. Madden NFL 25 hits PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360 in August.
