Lost Planet 3 has been delayed into August
Lost Planet 3 has been delayed into August for “business reasons,” Capcom has announced. Originally slated for June 25 in North America and in Europe on June 28, it will now release on PC, PS3, and Xbox 360 on August 27 in North America and August 30 in Europe.

Lost Planet 3 release date set for Japan

Capcom has announced it will be bringing playable demos of DmC Devil May Cry, JoJo’s Bizarre Adventure HD, Lost Planet 3, Marvel vs Capcom Origins, Okami HD, Resident Evil 6, Resident Evil: Chronicles HD Collection, the Vita and iOS versions of Street Fighter X Tekken and more to PAX Prime this Labor Day weekend. There will also be additional special promotions and giveaways, so attendees are encouraged to visit booth 3425 as often as they can. Capcom usually also brings its store to the event, which so full of goodies, your wallet will be screaming in pain. PAX Prime takes place August 31- September 1 in Seattle, Washington.

E.X Troopers: ‘Capcom wanted two very different Lost Planet games’
Lost Planet 3 and E.X. Troopers exist in the same universe but the while the former is a gritty and dark take on Capcom’s franchise, the same can’t be said for the latter. The canyon of different between both games is entirely intentional, Lost Planet executive producer Kenji Ohguro has revealed.

Lost Planet 3: Watch 15 minutes of gamescom gameplay footage here
Lost Planet 3 received a 15 minute gameplay demonstration behind close doors at gamescom, but now Capcom has given up the footage and posted it online. It shows protagonist Jim bounding across the snowy plains in his mech, tussling with giant Akrid and following the trail of a saboteur. Watch it here.
