LittleBigPlanet Karting is getting a new feature today with the weekly PSN update which will allow users to bring in LBP DLC costumes from the other titles free. The update will also implement make any new costumes bought from here on out automatically available across all of LittleBigPlanet titles. LittleBigPlanet Karting will contain a story mode, that features Sackboy racing against The Hoard. The bad guys are planning to steal Craftworld’s prizes for “no reason other than to hoard them.” The nerve! In the game, players will hop into a kart in order to reclaim the stolen prizes. Sony has released a set of videos, showing off some of the best user-created levels in the LittleBigPlanet Karting beta. The firm posted 8 videos out of the 350 levels published every day of the beta from over 125,000 participants. The beta ended on July 31 and the game is out in October on PS3. Sony has re-opened the LittleBigPlanet Karting beta
for European PlayStation Plus members. For the next 24 hours, Plus members will be able to download the LBP Karting client from the PS Store. What are you waiting for? Fire up the PS3 and go get the client, because the beta ends July 31.

Sony has announced the LittleBigPlanet Karting beta will begin July 10. Those who have been selected will start receiving codes in the next couple of weeks, more will be sent out via vouchers to more people as the test continues. The beta ends July 31.
