LEGO Legends of Chima: Laval’s Journey screenshots released
Screenshots for LEGO Legends of Chima: Laval’s Journey, have been released. The game is slated for release on 3DS this summer and this fall on DS, and Vita. An MMO is also in the works for the series by Traveller’s Tales on PC. A mobile version for the series was released in January.

LEGO The Lord of the Rings launches today in the US, and it appears some of the Xbox 360 copies at GameStop contain a demo disc instead of the actual game, Game Informer reports.

Report: New LEGO sets confirm LEGO Lord of the Rings game
MCV‘s reporting the new LEGO Lord of the Rings set features confirmation that a tie-in game is on the way. Blurry images taken of review sets show logos for both Warner and developer Travellers Tales. TT’s main efforts as late has been the LEGO games, including Harry Potter, Pirates of the Caribbean, Star Wars and Batman. A sequel for the latter arrives this summer.

Warner: Full-year ’11 revenue up 9% thanks to Arkham City, Mortal Kombat
Warner has released its full-year financials for 2011, and reported a revenue increase of 9% $12.6 billion thanks to sales of to Batman: Arkham City, Mortal Kombat, and “several”Lego titles. Arkham City has now shipped 6 million units worldwide since October, and Q4 results for its Film and Entertainment sector, which includes video game sales, saw a 7% increase in revenue year-over-year to $3.9 billion. Revenue across all sectors for full-year 2011 was $29.0 billion, which is an 8% increase year-over-year.
