The Killzone Trilogy is now available in stores, contains Killzone 1-3 and DLC
The Killzone Trilogy bundle is now available in stores for €49.99/£39.99, and Sony is celebrating with a Double XP Weekend. The pack contains the original Killzone remastered in HD, Killzone 2, Killzone 3, and the DLC released for both Killzone 2 and Killzone 3. You can also pick up Killzone HD on the PS Store today for £11.99/€14.99.

Guerrilla recalls the controversy surrounding Killzone 2′s E3 2005 trailer

Killzone turns five, celebrates with a double XP weekend

Guerrilla has announced over on the US PS Blog that Killzone is almost five, and it plans on celebrating the occasion with a double XP weekend.
Running November 27-30, the double XP weekend includes a Killzone 2 retro tournament, using only the Beach Head and Southern Hills maps from the second DLC pack.
Those who have not purchased DLC for the game, might be interested in the Flash & Thunder Map Pack, which is now on sale for $2.99 and the Map Pack Bundle is down to $9.99 until December 10.

Killzone 2 soundtrack now on iTunes
Over on the EU PS Blog, sound director for Guerilla Games Mario Lavin has confirmed that the full soundtrack of Killzone 2 is now available on iTunes to buy.
The price isn’t mentioned, but we just checked for ourselves, and it retails for £7.99.
It comes with 28 original pieces from the game’s composer Joris De Man, as well as a remix and a digital booklet containing concept art for the game.

Metal Gear Solid 4 and Killzone 2 getting Platinum treatment in Europe

Sony has confirmed that not only will MotorStorm: Pacific Rift and Resistance 2 be added to the firm’s platinum range of games, but Killzone 2 and Metal Gear Solid 4 are expected to be released for it as well.
Each has sold over 400,000 units and the new packaging will see the price of each get knocked down to £19.99.
No release date has been announced yet, but some UK retailers are already offering the games for that price.

Over 100 bits of content coming to Home tomorrow

Tomorrow, August 27, Sony will unload over 100 bits of content into PlayStation Home.
New Killzone 2 content includes the Visari Throne Room, based on the final stage of Killzone 2 in Scolar Visari’s Palace along with a variety of virtual items that you can use to customize your area.
That’s not all, there is loads more.
