Ninja Gaiden Z revealed, is Inafune’s ‘Yaiba’, Spark Unlimited developing

Team Ninja has revealed Ninja Gaiden Z, a collaboration between Team Ninja, Spark Unlimited and Keiji Inafune. It’s a cel-shaded Ninja Gaiden with zombies basically, and is the full name of Inafune’s ‘Yaiba’ project. The studio also unveiled a new Ninja Gaiden smartphone game, free Wii U DLC and more. Forsaken Souls was a WIP title for Soul Sacrifice confirms Sony

It looks as though the domain registration for Forsaken Souls was for Inafune’s Soul Sacrifice as suspected. Over on the EU PS Blog, in the announcement post for Soul Sacrifice, a reader asked whether Forsaken Souls was at one time under consideration as the title of Vita game in the west. A Sony representative confirmed it: “Forsaken Souls was a regional WIP (work in progress) title. The game will be distributed in Japan, North America and Europe under the name of Soul Sacrifice.” Thanks, Siliconera.
