Homefront: Ultimate Edition to launch on March 23 in EU
THQ’s announced the Ultimate Edition of Homefront, which’ll launch in Europe on March 23 for PS3, 360 and PC. According to EG, the package will come with map packs The Rock and Fire Sale and the weapon 870 Express Shotgun, which was previously available as pre-order DLC only. It’ll launch at the pricepoints of £19.99/€24.99.
A Homefront sequel is currently in the works at Crytek for an FY2014 launch.

THQ lists Homefront: Ultimate Edition for spring release
THQ’s made note in its recent release schedule of something called Homefront: Ultimate Edition. The game is expected before the end of the financial year, although no additional details were given. It’s fair to assume it’ll come with the full game launched last year, as well as the previously-released multiplayer DLC The Rock and Fire Sale. A sequel is currently in development for FY2014 from Crytek UK.

Japanese publisher Spike’s announced it’s to localise THQ’s Homefront for Japan. The Kaos shooter releases in the country in spring, soon after the game’s western release in March.

Homefront 2 already planned by THQ
THQ’s admitted it has big plans for Homefront, its Kaos-developed Korea Vs USA FPS.
“[The first game's the] beginning of a story. We’re going to tell this like a serial, with cliff-hangers. And then we intend to continue the story in [downloadable content], until we go to Homefront 2,” THQ’s core gaming group head Danny Bilson told an investor conference, according to GameSpot.
Homefront’s planned for a 2010 release.
