Activision’s announced overnight that Kanye West is to perform at Call of Duty XP. West, in what will be the rapper’s first performance since the release of his latest album, will close out the show on September 3 in Los Angeles. The event will also see Modern Warfare 3′s multiplayer unveiled for the first time and the full features list of Call of Duty Elite being announced as well.

EW has up the full artist roster for DJ Hero 2, confirming Justice, Tiesto, Daft Punk, M.I.A. and more for the game.

Genco Interactive announced today new songs for Scratch: The Ultimate DJ, a 7 Studios rhythm-action title expected for summer release.

The setlist will have 60 different tracks. Some of the announced include:

• Kanye West – Flashing Lights
• Beastie Boys – Intergalactic
• The Black Eyed Peas – Let’s Get it Started
• Tech N9ne- Slacker
• Eric B. and Rakim – Don’t Sweat the Technique

Other artists will include: Deltron 3030, Nelly, Run DMC, and The Gorillaz.

The devs have received creative and technical input from Mix Master Mike of the Beastie Boys, who will also provide tracks from his upcoming solo project for the game.

Scratch will feature urban environments, customizable DJ personalities and a turntable style controller created by DJ equipment manufacturer Numark.
