Oddworld: New ‘n’ Tasty developer Just Add Water has posted a new trailer of the HD remake. It’s posted below. The game will release on PS3, PS4, and PS Vita in spring 2014. PC, Linux, and Mac versions are to follow. The game is an HD remake Oddworld: Abe’s Oddysee.

Oddworld: The Brutal Ballad of Fangus Klot was never made back in the day, due to the collapse of Oddworld Inhabitants. But now they’re back thanks to new team Just Add Water, and there’s every chance the game could ride again. The studio has discussed the project and released some concept art into the wild.

A recent patch for the Vita version of Oddworld: Stranger’s Wrath HD has been recalled after it was found to incorrectly report save game files as corrupted. On the Oddworld website, developer Just Add Water said a fix is inbound, and will restore any inaccessible saves made pre-update. The patch added online leaderboards and alternative controls without rear touchpad as well as fix for a graphics issue. Oddworld: Stranger’s Wrath is available now via the PlayStation Store.

Oddworld: Stranger’s Wrath HD will release in US in mid-December for Vita, Just Add Water announced over Twitter. A release date for Europe hasn’t been confirmed, but the developers teased a bit of news on that front will arrive “in one week.” Expect Stranger’s Wrath HD to hit the US on December 18. Thanks, CVG.

Oddworld: Abe’s Oddysee HD got its full title yesterday, following a Eurogamer Expo session from series creator Lorne Lanning.
