Journey and Flower art director Matt Nava, has formed his own studio called Giant Squid. The former thatgamecompany staffer’s site doesn’t list any projects currently in development, but the mission statement on the site states that “artistic games that deliver beautiful, meaningful, and timeless experiences” are the plan. Thatgamecompany has announce book featuring the artwork of Journey will be released next month. Titled “The Art of Journey”, the hardcover was deigned and written by art director Matt Nava, and along with art from the game it contains information on what influenced the art direction.
