God of War III demo “unlikely” for pre-Christmas pack
All that talk of a God of War III demo being included in the pre-Christmas God of War I and II pack looks to be hocum.
“That is unlikely at this juncture,” John Hight, dev boss at Sony’s Santa Monica Studio, told IGN.
“First and foremost, we want to be able to have this available for this holiday, and we don’t have a demo available yet that we feel is release-ready.
“I know a lot of people played the E3 demo and dug it and everything but, as far as our standards, it’s not ready to go into everybody’s home. So we wouldn’t want to hinder our efforts to get God of War 1 and 2 out.
“We felt like the fans were pretty outspoken as far as, ‘Man, I want to play now,’ and, “I want to play this Christmas,’ so we put the emphasis on that.”
So there you go.

“Pretty big change” to PSN in April, says Sony
Speaking here, John Hight, “SCEA’s director of product development for its first-party published digital games” (companies just make this stuff up, surely), has given the clearest indication yet that a major update to America’s PlayStation Network is on the way.
“We give [Sony's interface team] a lot of feedback based on how our customers are reacting to things, and I think you will see a pretty big change in the PlayStation Network in the early part of April, where we roll out some new interface stuff largely based on customer feedback,” he said. “Simplification, cutting down on the number of mouse clicks, making it easier to find stuff that you want to find… that’s kind of an outgrowth of us having more content now, so we have to make sure that you can get at it easily.”
It was previously rumoured that Sony was gearing up to make a change to the US PSN in April. Sony’s made no indication at all as to whether or not its European online services are to be revamped any time soon.
