So says this. Bethesda won’t be making a game based on the upcoming Star Trek XI movie from JJ Abrams, despite holding the license. “Really interested in seeing the movie though,” said company spokesman Peter Hines. “If anyone can make that movie awesome, it would be JJ Abrams.”
