Atari tosses Infrogames branding, goes back to just Atari

Atari has dropped the Infrogames branding and plans to focus on just being Atari from now on.
In an interview with 1UP, CEO Jim Wilson said the reason the drop was to focus more on the “popular target brand” everyone knows.
“The Atari brand is very strong, our publishing business in the US is growing, and Cryptic’s business is firmly in the US,” he said.
“We’ve gotten rid of the Infrogrames and Atari duality, the confusion around that. We are one simplified company, under one management team, under one brand.”
Good for them. Hope it helps.
