Game designer Jane McGonigal has teamed up with Oprah Winfrey to launch a new social game based on gratitude. Nope, I’m not joking and no, I don’t get it neither. The game itself, called The Thank You Game, is simple enough: to make players show more gratitude in their daily lives.

Jane McGonigal feels that through gaming, we can save the world and in order to do that, we need to go from spending 3 billion hours a week playing online games, to 21 billion hours a week gaming online.
