Hitman: Absolution – man’s head catches fire in new trailer
Hitman: Absolution has a new trailer available for you to gawk at called: The Kill Mode. Basically, it shows you various ways to off someone using the environment. Case in point: a dancer at a club gets a disco ball to the head, and some poor fella in what appears to be a lab coat gets set alight. Nice. Watch it below.

Square Enix has released a playthrough showcasing Hitman: Absolution’s new multiplayer mode. The 18-minute Contracts video includes commentary from game director Tore Blystad and Travis Barbour, who are part of the community team at IO Interactive.

Hitman dev: standard “multiplayer will always be tempting”
It’s too easy to lumber a game with needless mulitplayer these days. IO Interactive have taken the decision to omit standard multiplayer from Hitman: Absolution’s makeup. Instead, the title offers a neat spin on competitive play. “Contracts” mode allows players to set targets for their friends to smash. Even so, the developer suggests including traditional multiplayer is an irritatingly attractive prospect.

Hitman: Absolution’s Blake Dexter is played by actor Keith Carradine
Hitman: Absolution contains a villain by the name of Blake Dexter, who is not only a twisted and formidable foe, but he is played by actor Keith Carradine in the game. Dexter is the cowboy hat wearing fella who pretty much runs the town of Hope, North Dakota in a shady manner. Think of him as the town’s Brad Wesley from Road House and you get the idea. Check out his ICA File video below. Hitman: Absolution is scheduled for release across North America, Europe and PAL territories on November 20 on PC, PS3, and Xbox 360.

Hitman: Absolution ‘used to have regen health’ – IO discusses big changes
Hitman: Absolution’s protagonist Agent 47 used to have regenerative health in an early build of the game, IO interactive’s director Tore Blystad has revealed. The feature was implemented to make the game accessible for everyone, but was since scrapped. Blystad has revealed more secrets in a new interview.
