A report on Kotaku states that MyResistance.net, the official site for Insomniac’s Resistance series, has been taken offline due to visitors being handed a fresh pile of malware scripts when visiting. According to the report, a forum user alerted the developer, and the entire site was taken offline for maintenance. Neither Insomniac nor Sony have confirmed the report as of press time. Stay tuned for updates.

It never ends, does it?

Insomniac has posted an update regarding patch 1.05, and along with a pending release date of next week, it will also come with two new multiplayer maps at no cost to you. The maps are Creek (16 players) and The Granary (four players). The patch will contain: network lag fixes; improved team balancing; purchasable abilities and equipment at level 60; fewer leaper spawns for Leaper Corpse, and better aiming with Move.

Insomniac has posted a new video for Ratchet & Clank: All 4 One which takes place on the Aldaros Plains, located on Planet Magnus. This area, full of floating islands of rock in a shifting landscape, has a boss called the Octomoth – not to be confused with Octomom – and you get to see our heroes battling it below. All4 One’s out on October 18 in the US and October 21 in the UK for PS3.

Insomniac may have had Resistance 3 just come out, but the focus now shifts towards Ratchet & Clank: All4One; Sony’s released a brand new trailer for the co-op platformer. The clip, the latest in a gameplay video series, shows how single-player rolls into the scheme of things within the game, dropping some story hints as well. Get the video below, via Joysitq.

Its been announced that Resistance 3 will get its first DLC pack next month. The pack, called Survival, will feature a new multiplayer mode called Invasion, where humans and Chimera need to capture multiple control points as long as they can. There’ll also be a Survival skin for MP and XMB theme.

Survival launches on October 4 for $3.99. The game itself is out now in the US and Friday in the UK. Get the reviews so far here. Thanks, Eurogamer.

Sony’s dropped a new trailer for Ratchet & Clank: All4One, showing off some of the whacky weapons you’ll get to try out. Insomniac has released a new developer diary for Resistance 3, which features the first gameplay footage of Capeill smashing Grims with a giant Sledgehammer. It also provides a detailed look at the human guns in the game such as the Magnum, Carbine, and Marksman, as well as a look at the upgrades attainable. Check the video out below. Also, Gamersyde has some screens up for the game. They aren’t the same ones posted here, and a couple look familiar, but have look anyway just in case. Game’s out next month.

Insomniac has released a weaponry video for Ratchet and Clank: All 4 One. It’s the first of four in a new video series highlighting the arsenal you’ll find in the game. Check out the Combuster, Darkstar Fission Tether, Warmonger, and Thundersmack in action below. All 4 One will release in the US on October 18, in Europe on October 19, and the UK on October 20.
