Namco Bandai at TGS – Vita, 3DS, Soulcalibur V

Famitsu already spoiled some of the big announcements to come out of the Namco Bandai pre-TGS press conference, but there were still some details to be chewed over and enjoyed. Expect big things for the PlayStation Vita launch lineup, Tekken, Ace Combat, Katamari Damacy and – of course, Soulcalibur V.

Dragon Age II on short release to “capitalize on the success of Origins,” says composer

Dragon Age II composer Inon Zur has said the sequel was put out less than 18 months after the release of Origins due to EA wishing to gain quick success on the back of the original.

Inon Zur doing Fallout 3 soundtrack

Inon Zur, a man we’d never hear of until five minutes ago, is writing the soundtrack to Bethesda’s Fallout 3.

Apparently, “In addition to scoring a number of best-selling video games, Zur’s music has been featured in many high-profile projects including Hollywood film trailers, network television productions, CGI movies, and symphony concerts. Most recently, Zur has composed music for CBS’ ‘Ghost Whisperer: The Other Side’ TV webisode series as well as the Marvel Kids webisodes for ‘IRON MAN’.”
