Ikaruga up on XBLA now
According to the Major, Treasure’s Ikaruga is now up on XBLA. It’s 800 Points, as usual, and is something you probably want to own. So buy it.

Ikaruga on Live Arcade this week
According to Treasure’s site, Ikaruga’s going to be published on XBLA this Wednesday. If you don’t know, this means you should definitely buy it, although we say that with some caveats after the fiasco that was Mr Driller Online. Still, great news. The shooter classic will cost you 800 of the most deserving MS Points you’ll ever spend. Hopefully.

April’s XBLA games listed (nearly)
360Sync’s reporting that Rocky and Bullwinkle will be available for download on April 16 from XBLA for 800 MS Points.
Sega has also apparently confirmed that Happy Tree Friends: False Alarm ‘should’ be out on the April 23.
Also, you might remember that we reported Ikaruga’s arrival next Wednesday for what should be 800 Points if Rez is the benchmark price for these Dreamcast rehashes.
And putting all that information in order, we’ve come up with this:
- Ikaruga – April 9
- Rocky and Bullwinkle – April 16
- Happy Tree Friends: False Alarm – April 23
Just one missing, then. Woot.

Ikaruga for XBLA on April 9
Treasure’s beloved top-down shooter, Ikaruga, is to be released on XBLA on April 9. Great news there, if you’re a fan of making your eyes and brains bleed. There’s no word on whether or not this is going to be a worldwide thing, but we’re going to keep the faith and tell you it is, even though we have no clue. We’re nice like that.

OXM jumps gun on Ikaruga XBLA launch
According to this, the American OXM has listed Treasure shooter Ikaruga as “out now” for XBLA, even though it clearly isn’t. The issue involved will have gone to bed in January, we’re guessing – US magazines have far longer lead times than their UK counterparts – so it looks as though the game was just assumed to be released by now. Quite reasonably as well: it’s been on ParterNet for some time, apparently. We’ve no idea what’s holding it up, but we wish someone would sort it out.

Ikaruga imminent for XBLA?
We can embed this one, and that’s just great. According to this, Treasure shooter Ikaruga is listed on the Japanese developer’s website as an 800 MS Point release any time now. The game is something everyone should play, if only to see if you are actually genetically capable of finishing it. We’ll never forget that ridiculous movie of the Japanese guy playing it two-player by himself in an arcade. Fingers crossed, anyway, that this is true.
