Quake removed from German index list
The German Government had removed classic 1996 shooter Quake from its list of indexed titles. Prior to its de-indexing, general retailers could not offer the iD Software title for sale, even through mail order. Bethesda seems to be in the process of appealing the indexing of iD Software’s back-catalogue, as Doom and Doom 2 were recently let free, too; Germany allows appeals after ten years.
Thanks, Joystiq.
