Ico, Shadow of the Colossus, Crysis 2, Tom Clancy titles hitting PSN next week
Sony’s announced Ico and Shadow of the Colossus will be made available next week on January 17 through PSN, and will run you $20 each. Crysis 2 will also be released through the service for $40, along with Rainbow Six Vegas and Splinter Cell: Double Agent, which will run you $20 each. We missed these in the avalanche of Tokyo Game Show videos that came our way yesterday. Sony released two brand new trailers of the ICO and Shadow of the Colossus Collection, each highlighting both games. In all honesty, is there anyone who isn’t interested in this pack? ICO/Shadow of the Colossus Collection gets big video blowout
IGN’s gone up with at least more than 15 minutes worth of footage from the ICO and Shadow of the Colossus Collection. There’s the first five minutes of ICO, more than ten minutes worth from the opening of Colossus and more. They look utterly stunning, so go watch them after the break. The pack’s out at the end of September for PS3.

ICO novel to be published later this month
Viz Media has said it’s to publish a novel based on ICO from author Miyuki Miyabe. Subtitled Castle in the Mist, the book will be published in the US on August 16 for $14.99. Pre-orders are been taken right now from Viz’s website. The novel’s launch comes before the HD re-release of the game itself in September for PS3.

Sony: Bonus content included in ICO and Shadow of the Colossus Collection
Brian Dunn, Sony’s associate product marketing manager, has said on the PS Blog that the ICO & Shadow of the Colossus Collection for PS3 will come with a voucher for two XMB Dynamic Themes, one for ICO and one for Shadow of the Colossus. The disc will also include video content from ICO, Shadow of the Colossus, and The Last Guardian. More information on the collection is promised soon. The collection, which includes full 1080p HD and stereoscopic 3D support, 7.1 surround sound, and full PSN Trophy support for $39.99 hits stores on September 27.
