I Am Alive celebrates PC launch with heavy-breathing trailer
I Am Alive is out now on PC. My favourite part of this news is the panting halfway through the launch trailer. Nothing says survival situation like a bit of heavy breathing amirite.

PSN Charts: I Am Alive tops April downloads
Sony has posted a list of the top-selling content in the US during April 2012 via the latest issue of Pulse. Ubisoft’s I Am Alive topped the list, and for the second month in a row, Journey came in second place. The Walking Dead Season Pass came in third, Skullgirls fourth, and The Walking Dead: Episode 1 rounded out the top five. Get the full list of top sellers below the break.

I Am Alive “one of the most polarizing titles we’ve ever launched,” says Ubisoft
Ubisoft VP of digital publishing, Chris Early, had said the firm’s digital-only offering I Am Alive was one of its “most polarizing” releases ever as review scores for it were all over the place.

I Am Alive landing on PSN April 4
Ubisoft has announced I Am Alive will be available to download on PSN April 4, and for the first two weeks, Plus subs will get 20% off the regular price of the title. There isn’t a price listed, but the Ubisoft Shanghai game was released on XBLA for 1200 MSP, so expect it to hit around the $15 mark.

I Am Alive trailer fears the future
Ubi’s put out yet another trailer for the imminent I Am Alive, showing constant climbing and skivvying around for cans of food. XBLA’s getting first drops on this on March 7, and background chatter is promising. Check it out below.

XBLA House Party line-up dated, priced
Nelson’s dropped the full list of dates and prices for this year’s Xbox Live House Party line-up, with the main bits being Alan Wake’s American Nightmare, launching on February 22 for 1200 MS points, and I Am Alive, releasing for the same price point on March 7. EA and Trapdoor’s Warp launches for 800 MS points, while THQ-published shooter Nexuiz releases on February 29 for the same pricepoint.

I Am Alive video demonstrates how to survive human encounters in the Dust
Ubisoft has released a new video for I Am Alive, which explores the game’s combat system. According to the video, it will be in the player’s best interest to save bullets and use bluffing and surprise techniques if possible. Nothing more satisfying than sneaking up behind and enemy and slashing his throat with a machete, is there? I Am Alive is slated for a Q1 2012 release on Xbox Live.
