PlayStation Plus sub not required for Hulu Plus

Hulu has responded with a lovely mail regarding use of the service on PlayStation Plus.

Turns out, you will not be required to be a PS+ member to subscribe to the service, just during the evaluation period.

Rumor: Hulu also coming to PS3

A few weeks ago, the rumor mill was abuzz with word that popular streaming television service Hulu was gearing up to make the jump over to Microsoft’s Xbox 360. Now, it’s whirred to life again – this time suggesting Hulu’s in talks with Sony as well.

Perhaps Microsoft has a one-month exclusivity deal on rumors now?

Hulu blocked on PS3

According to this Engadget piece, Hulu’s been specifically blocked on PS3 browsers.

Why? No one knows, but the error message PS3 users now get when trying to access the site doesn’t make it sound like a fault: “Unfortunately, this video is not available on your platform. We apologize for any inconvenience.”

Hulu‘s a big-in-America internet TV thing. Europeans can’t watch, which sucks, because it’s actually really good.

At least American PS3 users are now in the same boat. See how you like it, eh?
