Homefront: Ultimate Edition to launch on March 23 in EU
THQ’s announced the Ultimate Edition of Homefront, which’ll launch in Europe on March 23 for PS3, 360 and PC. According to EG, the package will come with map packs The Rock and Fire Sale and the weapon 870 Express Shotgun, which was previously available as pre-order DLC only. It’ll launch at the pricepoints of £19.99/€24.99.
A Homefront sequel is currently in the works at Crytek for an FY2014 launch.

THQ lists Homefront: Ultimate Edition for spring release
THQ’s made note in its recent release schedule of something called Homefront: Ultimate Edition. The game is expected before the end of the financial year, although no additional details were given. It’s fair to assume it’ll come with the full game launched last year, as well as the previously-released multiplayer DLC The Rock and Fire Sale. A sequel is currently in development for FY2014 from Crytek UK.

Homefront update and Ability Pack released, more DLC coming
An update to Homefront on Xbox 360 has been released which should improve the game’s stability and network connectivity. Additionally, the Ability Pack will be made available once the new update is applied, and Kaos has also announced new DLC.

THQ: CoD-level success still possible for Homefront
Homefront’s 2.6 million opening pitch may not have quite been the home run THQ was looking for, but it’s nothing to scoff at either. Well, unless you’re Call of Duty, in which case you’ve earned the right to take a sip of your incredibly fine wine and chortle at whatever numbers you please. THQ’s Brian Farrell, however, doesn’t think his game’s lost a battle or a war. After all, he explained, even Call of Duty wasn’t always an 800 lb industry gorilla.
