Transformers: Fall of Cybertron’s PC port apparently suffers a host of issues in the multiplayer department; Activision has acknolwedged user complaints and requested assistance in finding and resolving problems.

In a press release hailing today’s local launch of Transformers: Fall of Cybertron, Activision has confirmed the High Moon Studios effort won’t be releasing on PC at Australian retail. The news comes as something of surprise, but luckily at time of writing you still seem able to pick it up through Steam for $50, significantly less than the $80 or thereabouts stores are asking for the console versions. Fall of Cybertron is also available on PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360.

Hit up the Deadpool website to hear the merc with the mouth announce his own game. Nolan North provides Deadpool’s charming tones, as he is legally required to appear in 75% of all games. The new High Moon Studios effort was announced at San Digeo Comic Con; check out the first trailer here. It’s due in 2013.

Activision shipped Transformers: Fall of Cybertron’s multiplayer into San Diego Comic Con, where attendees have had the chance to try out its character customisation system.

Activision has announced Transformers: Fall of Cybertron will be released earlier than originally planned. It will now launch in the US on August 21, and the UK on August 24. The vocal minority’s opinions only mean so much, but when it’s calling you “the evil empire,” it might be time to set the record straight. Such was the aim of a recent PAX East panel, during which Activision-owned studios Vicarious Visions, Raven Software, and High Moon stormed the stage with some sunshine and butterflies to balance out the publisher’s heaping helping of doom and gloom.
