Fruit Ninja Kinect free Christmas DLC out now

Fruit Ninja

If you’re still addicted to slicing up all manner of colorful produce, then you’ll want to swing on over to Xbox Live to pick up your free Fruit Ninja Kinect Christmas DLC.

The content pack expands Halfbrick’s ultra-popular opus by adding in the ability to turn your body into something like a snowglobe, as well as other holiday-themed surprises like a candy-cane slicing blade. It’s a shame there’s not more gameplay content, but you can’t argue with free.

Quick Quotes – Where’s Fruit Ninja 2?

20111208fruitninja

“We could knock out a Fruit Ninja 2 in a couple of months and it would probably sell gangbusters, but we wouldn’t be satisfied with that. We put a lot of pressure on ourselves. Even when we were working on licensed titles we were determined to make the best games we could possibly make. We want to make really fantastic games and keep building Halfbrick as a company that people identify as making quality, interesting, unique titles.”

– Halfbrick’s Luke Muscat, speaking to Kotaku. Fruit Ninja is available for iOS, Kinect, Windows Phone 7, and is part of the Android Marketplace’s rotating selection of 10 cent apps today, so no excuses.
