Half-Life 3, Left 4 Dead 3, Source 2 spotted in leaked Valve archive
Half-Life 3 rumours are – at times – tenuous at best, but this one might actually have some legs, even if they’re really short and not capable of running very far. According to community-led rumour site ValveTime, an internal mailing list archive typed by an actual human at Valve acknowledges the game’s existence by name.

Steam group of 29,000 protesting lack of Half-Life 3 news by playing Half-Life 2 simultaneously
The Steam group “A Call for Communication”, which currently boasts 29,617 members, will be playing Half-Life 2 simultaneously on Saturday, February 4, from 11:00am until 11:30am PST in order to try and get Valve to announce anything pertaining to Half-Life Episode 3 or Half-Life 3 – if either exists. “Instead of focusing efforts in a negative and disrespectful way, we have decided to gain Valve’s attention by delivering a basic message: Your oldest and longest running fanbase would like better communication,” reads the message from the group. Earlier this month, the group had over 10,000 members join its ranks, and now that the number is pushing the 30,000 mark, hopefully Valve will take notice. Thanks, Ripten. [pic]

Rumor – US voice actor claims to be working on “Half Life Episode 3″
Half-Life 3 rumors have been swirling the net since Half-Life 2 was released to the console masses in fall 2007 via The Orange Box. Starting last week, the rumor sector lit up to boiling when a Half-Life 3 shirt was sported by a Valve employee at an event, which was either the biggest troll ever or the smarted marketing ploy in the world. Today, a “US-based voice actor” has told OXM they recent recorded lines for “Half Life Episode 3″. OXM has asked the actor for further clarification on the matter. This could be another massive troll, a lie, or a slip of the tongue. No matter what the case may be, one thing is for certain: if Half-Life 3 or Episode 3 is in the works, Valve will announce it when it is damned good and ready to do so – unless there’s a proof-positive leak beforehand.
