Analyst – GTA V to sell 14 million units at launch
Stern Agee’s Arvind Bhatia said in a note to investors today he expects GTA V to sell 14 million copies at launch and provide $700 million in revenue for Take-Two Bhatia also said it’s “all but a given” that the game will release before the end of T2′s fiscal year on March 31, 2013. In its latest financial release, for fiscal year 2013, the firm expects revenues for Q1, ending June 30, 2012, to hit between $225 to $275 million, and $1.75 to $1.85 billion in revenue for the full year, ending March 31, 2013. So, it expects GTA V to do well. The previous entry in the series. GTA IV, shipped 13 million before the end of its first year on the market, and has now shipped over 20 million units. PSM3 lists GTA V for March 2013 release, Hitman: Absolution for December
The latest issue of PSM3 has posted dates for both Grand Theft Auto V and Hitman: Absolution. According to the magazine, the Rockstar title will hit retail on March 9, 2013, while Agent 47′s latest mission lands in December of this year. The dates were posted in the “Readers’ Most Wanted” section, and while not listed in the mag’s rumors portion, we’re still calling it as such until both games are given set release dates by the publishers. Rockstar co-founder and the co-writer of Grand Theft Auto V, Dan Houser, has said Rockstar Social Club integration will allow the multiplayer crews established in Max Payne 3 to be carried over into Grand Theft Auto V.

Analyst: GTA V to release “early 2013″, potential for a Wii U launch
Sterne Agee analyst Arvind Bhatia expects Grand Theft Auto V to release during early 2013, which he feels will not only provide Rockstar with time for extra polishing, but also give the firm a “potential” window in which to launch the game on Wii U. Bhatia expects the game to hit during March of next year, a release window which would keep it from going up against the next Call of Duty title and Assassin’s Creed 3 this fall.
