Killer is Dead details revealed by Suda 51: features Yakuza riding tigers
Killer is Dead seems like it’s shaping up to be a Suda 51 fan’s dream. Swords, assassins, Yakuza, tigers, all sorts of weird shit. The Grasshopper Manufacture founder has been talking about the game in some detail among the pages of this week’s Famitsu. It sounds insane.

Killer is Dead domain registrations filed by XSEED
Suda 51′s Killer is Dead may be heading westward courtesy of XSEED if domain registrations dug by Superannuation are any indication. The domains: killerisdead-game as well as killandlove.com and loveandkill.com were all registered by the publisher. A confirmation for the west has yet to be announced, but, the game is slated for a release in Japan this summer on PS3 and Xbox 360. We’ll send a mail and ask. Killer is Dead was last spring, and featured in the latest issue of Famitsu.

Suda 51 and Grasshopper Manufacture’s Killer is Dead is featured in the latest edition of Famitsu. Announced as being in development last year, the game that takes place in a future where the Moon is a vacation destination and the main character’s arm is your main weapon.

Grasshopper collecting Lollipop Chainsaw feedback
Grasshopper Manufacture and Kodokawa Games have launched an initiative to collect player feed back on Lollipop Chainsaw, according to Gamespot‘s translation of an Impress Watch interview. Kadokawa boss Yoshimi Yasuda said Lollipop Chainsaw wasn’t received as well as might have been hoped, and the two companies have taken on board feedback from Japanese and International fans as to why. The data will be used to help fine tune the upcoming Killer is Dead, which will hopefully break something of a poor critical and commercial streak for Grasshopper.

Grasshopper not “ruling out” Move support for Lollipop Chainsaw
Suda 51 has said at one point, he and the team at Grasshopper considered adding Move support to Lollipop Chainsaw. Instead, he said the team decided to focus on the more on the game for the time being, but “aren’t ruling it out,” for the future he told the PS Blog. So, it’s possible support for the peripheral could be patched into the game in the future. Lollipop Chainsaw releases on PS3 and Xbox 360 on June 12 in the US, June 13 in Australia, and June 15 in Europe. For fun, below the break is a video of Suda playing Tokyo Jungle over on Andriasang, as well as one of the game’s producer and director playing Lollipop Chainsaw.
