Those who play Lord of the Rings Online should take a look at the changes coming to Bree, EVE Online players were ripped-off, Star Trek Online added  timelines, an EverQuest documentary is coming to Fan Faire 2009, and Final Fantasy XI is getting an update in July.

Gungho released a promo video of Grandia Online, as you can see after the break. It is actually real. It’s not a lie.

There’s some running around going on there. Apparently each player with have a computer controlled buddy.

Grandia Online’s to be announced in Japan on May 20. Seriously.

The news was broken today via a page on Gungho’s website inviting fans to apply for a chance to attend a Grandia Online conference in Akihabara on May 20. 60 lucky applicants will be able to play the game at the event, which will feature series composer Noriyuki Iwadare as well as voice actors Kikuko Inoue and Mariya Ise as special guests.

To commemorate the announcement, the original Grandia is now available on the Japanese PSN for 600 yen.
