GTA 5 – more screenshots released to the masses
GTA 5 shots have been released by Rockstar, and we have them below. Most were released yesterday, but they were watermarked so we didn’t grab them. There’s even one below which Nintendo would severely frown upon. Grand Theft Auto 5 is due on PS3 and Xbox 360 in September.

GTA 5 trailers featuring the main characters coming April 30
Mark your calenders for April 30, because three new GTA 5 trailers will be released. Each will focus on one of three main protagonists in the game: Michael, Franklin, and Trevor. Again, that’s three new videos heading your way next week. Get reacquainted with things by watching the second trailer below. GTA 5 will be released on PS3 and Xbox 360 September 17.

GTA 5 – a lone piece of artwork appears
Rockstar has released another piece of GTA 5 artwork, showing the three stars of the game looking into the truck of a car. What could be in it? We bet whatever it is, was alive at some point in time. Have a look below. GTA 5 is due on PS3 and Xbox 360 in northern spring 2013 and the cover art for the retail box is expected to be revealed later this month.

GTA 5 artwork appears, shows man on a WaveRunner
Grand Theft Auto 5 artwork has popped up on Shortlist, which is giving away a “very special” GTA 5 collector’s item. The item in question is “a set of five photo viewers, each sporting the logo of in-game brand Fly US and containing a different brand new, never-before-seen screenshot from GTA 5.” Have a look at the shot below, and we’re betting that man is anything but a lifeguard. GTA 5 to be featured on cover of December Game Informer
GTA 5 will be featured in the December issue of Game Informer, the magazine’s editor-in-chief has tweeted.

Take-Two Q1 – GTA 5 TBA, making “substantial progress”
Grand Theft Auto V has remained a steadfast “TBA” in Take-Two’s Q1 2013 financial release today, but the publisher assured the game is making “substantial progress”.

Organizers of gamescom have told CVG the GTA V footage show in its promotion video for the event was added “in error.”

GTA V shown in promotional video for gamescom
It appears Grand Theft Auto V may show itself during gamescom in August, if a promotional video released by the show’s organizers on Thursday is any indication. While Take-Two is listed an an exhibitor for the event, Rockstar, specifically hasn’t been mentioned as attending as of yet. But the eyes don’t lie, and if you look at the video around the 1:50 mark, you can see it for yourself – just don’t blink. Whether new footage will be shown or not, or if it’s just a clip added for effect remains to be seen. We’ll send a mail and ask. Thanks, Gematsu.

Analyst: GTA V to release “early 2013″, potential for a Wii U launch
Sterne Agee analyst Arvind Bhatia expects Grand Theft Auto V to release during early 2013, which he feels will not only provide Rockstar with time for extra polishing, but also give the firm a “potential” window in which to launch the game on Wii U. Bhatia expects the game to hit during March of next year, a release window which would keep it from going up against the next Call of Duty title and Assassin’s Creed 3 this fall.
