GTA 5 isn’t next-gen as ‘now is the best timing of all’, says Houser
Grand Theft Auto 5 is launching Spring 2013, and that’s awfully late in the current console life cycle, but Rockstar’s Dan Houser has argued in the pages of Famitsu that all of the best games come out at the end of each generation, stating that the time has been spent getting the most out of current tech.

GTA 5 artwork appears, shows man on a WaveRunner
Grand Theft Auto 5 artwork has popped up on Shortlist, which is giving away a “very special” GTA 5 collector’s item. The item in question is “a set of five photo viewers, each sporting the logo of in-game brand Fly US and containing a different brand new, never-before-seen screenshot from GTA 5.” Have a look at the shot below, and we’re betting that man is anything but a lifeguard. Grand Theft Auto 5 pre-orders have begun, and as a result of Hurricane Sandy, Rockstar has admitted that its second trailer for the game has been delayed, however the publisher could not say by how long. Grand Theft Auto 5 second trailer pushed back by Hurricane Sandy
Grand Theft Auto 5 is clearly primed for a media blitz, what with a confirmed release window and loads of retail leaks, but where’s the expected second trailer? According to Rockstar, a planned trailer has been delayed by fallout from Hurricane Sandy. “Its hard to be precise as we have no power whatsoever in our New York office,” the publisher noted in a comment on its blog.
