You really need an extraordinary amount of support to have a new franchise be successful. A teaser video for Grasshopper Manufacture’s PSN and XBL shooter Sine Mora has been released. Co-developed at Digital Reality and scored by former Silent Hill man Akira Yamaoka, the “diesel punk” game has plenty of floating robots with octoarms, and massive trains and planes that do things only a fantasy setting such as this would allow. While the video doesn’t show any real gameplay, it does show off enough in-game footage to give you an idea of what to expect when it is released this winter. Thanks, GameSetWatch.

DeNA has announced its signed up three major devs to create new games for the social games service Mobage. Grasshopper’s Goichi Suda, ex-Capcom dev boss Keiji Inafune and Sonic the Hedgehog creator Yuji Naka will make titles for Mobage. Inafune’s creating a game called JJ Rockets, while Suda 51 will release a No More Heroes-related title.

Goichi Suda told Gamespot at E3 yesterday that Shadows of the Damned “might” include a side-scrolling level, referencing how the Hell-based action game will contain unique puzzle elements. See the interview below. He makes mention of it at 1.42. SotD’s out this summer for PS3 and 360.

Goichi Suda and Shinji Mikami are featured in a new developer diary for Shadows of the Damned, acting silly and chatting about the game amidst some gameplay footage.
