Unfortunately we couldn’t really do as well as we hoped for.” – Grasshopper’s Goichi Suda, speaking to Eurogamer at TGS on the difficulties of making a new IP. Grasshopper released Shadows of the Damned, via EA Partners, this past summer to critical success, but very low sales.

First video for Grasshopper and Digital Reality’s Sine Mora released

Co-developed at Digital Reality and scored by former Silent Hill man Akira Yamaoka, the “diesel punk” game has plenty of floating robots with octoarms, and massive trains and planes that do things only a fantasy setting such as this would allow. While the video doesn’t show any real gameplay, it does show off enough in-game footage to give you an idea of what to expect when it is released this winter. Thanks, GameSetWatch.
