The product of Sega’s first free-to-play partnership is now available for your perusal. Godsrule: War of Mortals is a browser-based strategy effort from Gogogic, and it’s also expected on iPad later this year. You can get started here or visit the game’s website to learn more.

SEGA has announced Godsrule: War of Mortals, its free-to-play, cross-platform title is now in open beta. You can sign up for the PvP tester through here. Developed in partnership Icelandic developer Gogogic, the title is expected to launch in-browser and on iPad sometime this year.

Gogogic CEO Jonas Antonsson believes single-player games need to offer the player something “very appealing” otherwise, single-payer games become nothing more than “gimmicks” in a multiplayer world.
