Ghost Recon: Future Soldier developer Ubisoft Paris plans to announce its new project “very soon,” according to a tweet from international product manager Aymeric Evennou. The time frame for “very soon,” was later confirmed to be for “this week,” and Evennou seems to be pleased with finally being able to reveal it. We’ll keep you posted.

Ubisoft has announced title update 1.3 is now available for the PC version of Ghost Recon: Future Soldier. The patch addresses input compatibility issues such as found using the Xbox 360 controller and the mouse and WASD keys not working for some configurations. The next update, 1.4, will add the latest console and cloud update, but also other improvements including graphics, performance, stability and online. It will be made available “once thoroughly tested.”

Ubisoft has announced that after a slight delay, the Arctic Strike Map Pack for Ghost Recon: Future Soldier will be available on July 17 for PS3 and Xbox 360. The pack contains three new multiplayer maps, a new mode called Stockade, a Guerilla co-op map, six new weapons, a new level cap and achievements. It will run you 800 MS Points/£7.99/$9.99. Ubisoft has announced the Arctic Strike map pack for Ghost Recon: Future Soldier has been delayed. Originally set for a July 3 release, the firm said the delay will allow for extra polish. Cowen analyst Doug Creutz has said Diablo III sold 1 million units at retail during May in the US. Citing NPD figures, Creutz said Max Payne 3 and Ubisoft’s Ghost Recon: Future Soldier both sold 400,000 units each, which is 200,000 units below what the firm estimated for each title. Despite the lower than predicted sales, both titles were the best-selling console titles at retail for the month. Thanks, Gamasutra.
