Report – Global game unit sales declined by 8% in 2009
GfK-ChartTrack has released a report on the state of global gaming in 2009, and found that unit sales declined by 8 percent worldwide, totaling 379.3 million units.

DS beats PS2 to biggest-selling UK console crown [Update]
DS is now the biggest-selling UK console in all history. The Nintendo machine beaten PS2′s 10.02 million units to date, passing 10.05 million in week 47, 2009.
This is according to GfK-ChartTrack data. DS launched in the UK in March 2005, compared to PS2′s November 2000 release.
