Geometry Wars hits 1 million leaderboard entries
More than 1 million combined leaderboard entries have been made for Geometry Wars 1 and 2, Bizarre Creations has announced.
And no, this doesn’t mean 1 million people have played it. From the developer’s site:
Unfortunately it’s impossible to tell whether these leaderboard entries equate to one million real life people. It’s possible to have multiple accounts on your Xbox 360 which are used by a single person. Also there’s going to be quite a few people who own both games, and have a leaderboard entry on each. Mind you, the leaderboards also don’t take into account anybody who plays whilst not connected to Xbox Live, for example folks who own the XBL games compilation disc.
But what the hey. A million’s a million. Congrats, Bizarre!
