A Season Pass for Gears of War: Judgment has been confirmed, and it will be made available at launch for 1600 MS Points, saving you 20% as opposed to buying the DLC separately as it becomes available. Epics plans for DLC include six maps, nine unlockables and two modes, and if you pick up the pass you’ll also net a double XP boost, early maps access along with weapons and armor skins. A se of screens purported to represent a Gears of War RTS have surfaced on VGLeaks. The early alpha screens apparently show a game in which you could control troop movements by drawing lines with your fingers. There’s absolutely no proof, but a Gears of War title called Exile was shelved sometimes before April 2012, and is believed to have involved Kinect in some way.

The Gears of War series is not only a hit with males, but females as well, which is something Epic’s art director Chris Perna feels is due to the lack of “attractive, stereotypical, sexy” females in the game.

Gears of War: Judgment will come with a download code for the original Gears of War, according to Spanish site The Vault, which cites an anonymous source for the news. The People Can Fly-developed effort is the fourth in the series; the original debutes in 2006. Expect Judgment in March, exclusively for Xbox 360.

The Gears of War series has pushed through 19 million in sales, which is an additional one million since it the figure of 18 million was announced in July. The math comes from Microsoft via Joystiq, and while the firm would not disclose sales figures for Gears of War 3, its first week at retail saw the title move 3 million, while Gears 1 and Gears 2 were noted to have sold 12 million combined as of June 2012.

Gears of War: Judgment pre-orders kickoff today at participating retailers, and customers can receive an exclusive in-game multiplayer weapon at launch: the Classic Hammerburst.
