Gearbox gives out free Borderlands 2 codes, demands oath of loyalty
Gearbox Software awarded over 900 attendees of its PAX panel a download code for a free copy of Borderlands 2, courtesy of 2K Games.
Having announced this extremely generous offer, Gearbox then required the whole room to swear an oath.
Kotaku was in attendance and filmed the proceedings, a somewhat spooky chorus of nearly 1,000 people promising to love and respect both companies forever and ever. Hit the link to watch it in full.
Borderlands 2 is expected in 2012, on PC, PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360.

Quick Shots: Borderlands 2 shows off its style
A handful of shots have surfaced of Gearbox Software’s 2K published sequel. The shots show the stylising synonymous with the Borderlands brand and include what appears to be a gorgeous looking in-game, first-person shot.
The game is due for release on PC, 360 and PS3 in Take-Two’s fiscal year 2013 – which places it somewhere between April 1 2012 and March 31 2013.

Upcoming DNF patch to up Duke’s arensal, increase weapon slots
The list of knocks against Duke Nukem Forever is long and varied, but Gearbox is about to give one Duke’s much-beloved boot. (Sadly, it’s not the lack of Duke’s much-beloved boot.) “Among the changes coming to PC are a new expanded inventory option that allows you to carry up to four weapons in the single-player campaign, Valve Anti-Cheat System (VAC) support, push-to-talk voice chat, the ability to adjust FOV plus other fixes and improvements that are still being tested,” said a post by community manager Chris Faylor. So there you have it, Duke fans. Go nuts. Chew gum, kick ass, and commit unspeakable crimes against good taste.
