World of Tanks dev could bring free-to-play games to PS4, currently experimenting
World of Tanks developer Wargaming is currently experimenting with the notion of free-to-play on consoles, including PS4, but CEO Victor Kislyi has stressed that you will only see the company’s games on consoles if the formats don’t hamper the free-to-play experience.

Total Annihilation: Gas Powered Games’ Chris Taylor wants to make a sequel
Total Annihilation designer Chris Taylor has told VG247 that he would like to work on the classic RTS franchise again. The developer has discussed the future of the PC market and the tough times facing publishers, just weeks after his studio Gas Powered Games was acquired by Wargaming.

Gas Powered Games re-branded as Wargaming Seattle
Gas Powered Games has been re-branded by new owner Wargaming as Wargaming Seattle. The move has seen some released staff members rehired by the studio.

Wildman – new Kickstarter tiers added along with video update
New $5 and $10 reward tiers have been added to Gas Powered Games’ Wildman Kickstarter, along with a video detailing how to fit RTS elements into an action-RPG. The new $5 tier gives backers “immediate posting access to the Wildman forum,” when the Kickstarter has completed. Non-backers will have read-only access. The new $10 tier hands out exclusive access to the pre-release Wildman beta as well as forum access. All amounts pledged above the $5 and $10 tiers will be granted access to the rewards, obviously. With 20 days to go, 6,252 backers have pledged $326,105 towards the $1,100,000 goal.
