Vita demos now available at over 3,300 GameStop locations in the US
GameStop’s across the US now have Vita on hand as well as some lovely game for you to try out before the system launches on February 22. Over 3,300 stores will have a unit for you to get your paws on, as well as the following games: EA SPORTS FIFA Soccer, Escape Plan, Hot Shots Golf: World Invitational, Little Deviants, ModNation Racers: Road Trip, Uncharted: Golden Abyss, Virtua Tennis 4: World Tour Edition, and WipeOut 2048.

Report: GameStop to close its stores in Portugal

Circle Pad Pro looks to be a GameStop exclusive in the US
Like Xenoblade Chronicles before it, it looks as though Nintendo’s optional 3DS accessory Circle Pad Pro will launch in the US as a GameStop exclusive. Launching in the country on February 7, the peripheral will run you $19.99 and works as an additional shoulder button attachment for games such as Resident Evil Revelations and METAL GEAR SOLID 3D Snake Eater. Â Mentioned as part of the Nintendo Release Schedule posted earlier this morning, we contacted GameStop to see if it would be exclusive, and our local shop said “yes”, but we’ve yet to hear back from Nintendo on the matter.

GameStop announces a second Final Fantasy XIII-2 pre-order bonus
If you pre-order your copy of Final Fantasy XIII-2 at GameStop, and happen to be a member of the PowerUp Rewards scheme, you’ll receive a second pre-order bonus on top of the previously-announced alternate costume for Serah. The Genji Bow is a transforming weapon that allows for both ranged and melee attacks, and even increases Serah’s attack speed.
Final Fantasy XIII-2 is expected on PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360 in early 2012.
