Velocity Ultra will be released on Steam next week, Curve Studios has announced. The PC version features every level and secret area as the PlayStation Vita original while taking advantage of customizied controls, and full Steamworks support. The arcade puzzle-shooter with a teleportation mechanic will run you £6.99/$9.99/€8.99 come December 12.

Velocity Ultra developer Curve Studios has confirmed that it’s working closely with original creator FuturLab to bring the PS Vita title to PC in time for Christmas.

Velocity 2X, the sci-fi platformer-shooter from FuturLab, has a new video available showing off pre-Alpha footage of the platforming sections. Since the game is currently missing both visual and sound effects, you’ll have to just listen to some music overlaid for the time being. Velocity 2X is slated for release on both PlayStation 4 and PS Vita.

Velocity Ultra will be released on Vita in July, FuturLab has announced on the PS Blog. The handheld game will contain online leaderboards, Trophies, 60FPS, and the same “kick-ass soundtrack by Joris de Man.” The firm’s managing director said it will run you $7.99 and it will be a 220MB download come July 2.

FuturLab has announced its PlayStation Mobile title Surge will be released tomorrow. The game was developed using Sony’s PSM SDK and will be available on all PlayStation Certified devices including Vita for £2.59/€3.29. Check out a trailer for it below.

FuturLab has announced Velocity, scrolling minis shooter with gameplay featuring a teleport mechanic which allows players to jump around the screen and return to previous areas of a level to solve “time sensitive logic puzzles.”
