Ubisoft has announced that after a slight delay, the Arctic Strike Map Pack for Ghost Recon: Future Soldier will be available on July 17 for PS3 and Xbox 360. The pack contains three new multiplayer maps, a new mode called Stockade, a Guerilla co-op map, six new weapons, a new level cap and achievements. It will run you 800 MS Points/£7.99/$9.99. Ubisoft has announced the Arctic Strike map pack for Ghost Recon: Future Soldier has been delayed. Originally set for a July 3 release, the firm said the delay will allow for extra polish. The pack will now release later in July, with an “exact date,” coming “soon.” Upon release, the DLC will run you 800 MS Points/$9.99/£7.99. Thanks, CVG.

Ubisoft has announced the first Double XP weekend for Ghost Recon: Future Soldier starts today and will run through Monday, June 11. The Double XP will span across both Xbox 360 and PS3. Timings for various regions are below.

Ghost Recon: Future Soldier is out now in the US, so Pat and Sam decided to load the game up and shoot things together. They even filmed their session, which includes the first 15 minutes of the game. Watch for yourself below. The Game’s out in the UK on Friday.

Ubisoft has released a documentary style trailer for Ghost Recon: Future Solider, which provides the viewer with intimate look into the inner workings of the soldiers in the game. It’s below. Future Soldier launches on May 25 for PS3 and 360 and on June 12 for PC.

A third Inside Recon video fir Ghost Recon: Future Solider has been released which goes into depth on the game’s Guerilla multiplayer mode. IN the mode, players will fight cooperatively with friends against waves of enemies. Ghost Recon: Future Soldier will release on May 24 for PS3 and Xbox 360.

Ubisoft has released a new video for Ghost Recon: Future Soldier called “Believe in Ghosts.” In it, Richard Machowicz, a former Navy SEAL sniper and scout recounted how Future Soldiers use a “deadly edge” to gain an unfair advantage. Neat. The game will release in May on PS3 and Xbox 360, and a multiplayer beta is expected in April. A PC version will be released at a later date. Thanks, Gematsu.

Ubisoft has released a new video for Ghost Recon: Future Soldier, which is the first in a series which gives you an inside look at the development process. If you head on below the break and click the play button, you’ll become familiarized with the animation and cover systems, which was mo-capped using former navy seal operatives. The video also notes that the developers created over 2,500 animations for just the main character alone. Ubisoft has released a new video for Ghost Recon: Future Solider, revealing the game’s single-player campaign. A Collector’s Edition for the game has also appeared online for Australia and New Zealand. According to MCV, the package contains a steelbook case, hardcover artbook, Alpha short movie DVD, lithographic prints, a t-shirt, and unlockable game content. A price has not been announced, but retailers in the region have it listed for $127. Ghost Recon: Future Soldier will release in May on PS3 and Xbox 360, and a multiplayer beta is expected in April. A PC version will be released at a later date.
