Rumor: Taiwanese manufacturers get PS3 Slim contract

Rumor has it that two Taiwanese manufacturing companies have been given contracts by Sony to start creating PS3 Slim.
According to UDN.com, one contract went to Foxconn and the other to Pegatron, both based in Taiwan.
More surprisingly, units are expected to start shipping in early July “to cope with expected summer vacation demands.”
Remember, rumor until proven otherwise, but keep in the back of your mind that both Foxconn and Pegatron manufactured the original PS3.
Thanks, Joystiq.
