Fire Emblem Awakening first month sales were 180,000, eShop downloads hit 63,000
Fire Emblem Awakening sold 180,000 units at North American retail, Nintendo has confirmed to Joystiq, making it the best first month sales in the history of the franchise. NoA also told the site that eShop sales were 63,000 units, which made up 35% of total sales. The last entry in the series, Shadow Dragon, has moved over 250,000 units in North America to date.

Fire Emblem: Awakening has a new trailer available, which shows you how the game’s character progression system will work. The game contains 40 classes which can be changed using certain items and weapons, and you can also upgrade to a higher class. Fire Emblem: Awakening is out on February 4 in North America on 3DS and sometime during April in Europe.
