Hot dog. The PSN version of Final Fantasy VII will release on the European PSN today. Meaning you can buy it. And play it.
It shouldn’t cost more than £4, so you’ve got no excuse, really.

No idea if it’s coming to Europe. It’s already released on PSN in Japan.

Molyneux: FFVII defined the genre
Speaking to Videogamer, Peter Molyneux’s laid his RPG-defining hat on FFVII’s hook. Pretty wisely, in our opinion.
“I always remember back to Final Fantasy VII, when I first played FFVII, that to me defined the genre,” he said. “Those were the ‘oh my god’ moments, I don’t believe they exist. I haven’t seen many of those on the PS3.”

FFVII-related scan gets knickers in twist
The latest issue of V-Jump’s got something in it that may be related to a FFVII remake, says this. Apparently the Japanese text reads, “Welcome again FFVII”, and “FFVII is about finding the lost truths of Cloud and the others”. Hopefully someone will translate the other text on the page as well, as that’ll probably tell everyone exactly what the piece it about. Hint.
