Bon Jovi song to be used for Crystal Bearers adverts in Japan

A promotion advertising Final Fantasy Crystal Chronicles: The Crystal Bearers in Japan will boast a Bon Jovi song as the background music.
Apparently, Square Enix has decided to use the song “We Weren’t Born to Follow” for use in the game’s commercials.
The title hits Japan on November 12 with the Bon Jovi commercials airing later this month.
Don’t worry folks, the commercials are for Japan only.

Teaser site for FFCC: The Crystal Bearers goes live

Square Enix launched the official teaser site for Wii’s upcoming Final Fantasy Crystal Chronicles: The Crystal Bearers.
Been dying for that, haven’t you?
Not much is up there yet except for the trailer included with FFCC: Echoes of Time, and wallpaper of the game emblem. If there were more, it wouldn’t be called a teaser site.
The game is expected sometime before the end of the year.

Final Fantasy CC: The Crystal Bearers not canceled, gets swank trailer
First shown way back during the neanderthallic, pre-Wii E3 of 2006, Final Fantasy Crystal Chronicles: The Crystal Bearers’ existence has recently (and rightfully) been called into question. Well, stop doubting and start practicing your best post-victory boogie, because Square Enix has finally dropped a new FFCCTCB trailer, and it’s looking, well, pretty much like a Final Fantasy game.
Co-oping with the newly released Wii version of FFCC: Echoes of Time, the trailer features a blonde, be-goggled protagonist (not this guy) who flings enemies to death with the help of his righteous, probably Wii-Mote-controlled right hand and a thumping country soundtrack. Dogs seem to be considered an instrument here, as well.
Also blipping on this trailer’s radar are airships, Chocobos, and – you guessed it – crystals. Really, the whole thing looks fantastic, if we’re being honest.
Check out the full trailer after the break.
Thanks, Wired.
