Square-Enix has gone savings-daft this week, with a spring sale that lasts from today, right up to March 27. Tomb Raider, Hitman: Absolution, the original Thief and Final Fantasy 7 HD are all included int he savings.

If you’ve yet to pick up Sleeping Dogs or Hitman: Absolution, you an get both for 75% off through Square’s online store. There are other titles on sale as well, for instance, Final Fantasy 7 can be picked up for 50% off. More savings through the link. Hurry: the sale ends on February 6 and is for the European region only from what we can tell. We didn’t see any mark-downs on the North American end at any rate.

Rejoice, fellow antipodean members of the master race. You can now purchase and play the re-release of 1997 RPG, Final Fantasy 7, on your tremendously overpowered PC. We’re still not sure why the re-port took so long to turn up Down Under, but here it is. It’ll set you back $12 during the launch window and $16 if you dwadle, and comes with achievements, cloud saves (ha ha) and a stat boosting shortcut.

Final Fantasy 7′s PC re-release hasn’t been exactly smooth. Square Enix has acknowledged a handful of issues and promised to address them as soon as possible.

Final Fantasy VII will be free for those who purchased it on PC over the weekend, and the price of the game will be refunded, according to a statement from Square Enix.
