Fallout: Lanius is the incoming fan-made film that explores the backstory of Fallout: New Vegas villain Legate Lanius. It has smashed its IndieGoGo funding goal and to celebrate the team has released the movie’s first teaser trailer into the wild. Check it out here.

Obsidian’s Chris Avellone gave a talk at GDC Online 2012 in which he discussed the challenge of working with limited voice acting for Fallout: New vegas’s DLC packs. Kotaku‘s flagged a fan project to restore content cut from Fallout: New Vegas before launch. Read a description of the individual bits and piece here. All the uncovered content has been gathered up, turned into mods, and stored here, so you can grab it all and see the whole game-as-it-was if you feel like it. Obsidian’s Fallout 3 spin-off is one of those divisive titles, so if you didn’t feel the love the first time through, maybe this restored version will charm you at last.

Obsidian was promised a bonus from Bethesda alongside straight payment on Fallout: New Vegas if it had hit an 85 on MetaCrtiic.

Bethesda has released a video for the Fallout: New Vegas Ultimate Edition which releases next month in Europe and the US. It comes complete with Dead Money, Honest Hearts, Old World Blues, Lonesome Road, Courier’s Stash, and Gun Runners’ Arsenal which gives players access to the areas of: Sierra Madre Casino, Zion National Park, Big MT research crater and the Divide. Each of the four add-on packs increases the maximum level cap by five levels, ultimately raising the cap to level 50.
The Fallout: New Vegas Ultimate Edition will be available on PC, PS3 and Xbox 360 on February 7 in North America and in Europe on February 10.

All Roads, a 48 page graphic novel which tells the story of events leading up to Fallout: New Vegas, is now available through Dark Horse Digital. You can grab the comic for $3 directly from Dark Horse or through the App Store.
The comic was originally bundled with the game’s collector’s edition, and was written by Obsidian’s Chris Avellone.

Bethesda has announced Courier’s Stash and Gun Runners’ Arsenal are now available for download on Steam and XBL for Fallout: New Vegas. Both will be made available late tomorrow on PSN. Courier’s Stash will run you 160 MSP/£1.49/€1.99/$1.99, and provides players with four content bundles previously available only through pre-ordering: The Caravan Pack, Classic Pack, Mercenary Pack and Tribal Pack. Gun Runners’ Arsenal will run you 320 MSP/£2.99/€3.99/$3.99 and includes various new ways to kill enemies. You can get an idea of what to expect through a list we posted for you on Saturday.

Fallout: New Vegas’s Lonesome Road DLC has been released for Xbox 360 and Steam. The PS3 versions will hit on September 22. It’s 451Mb and costs 800 MSP.
Here’s the official description: “In Lonesome Road you are contacted by the original Courier Six, a man by the name of Ulysses who refused to deliver the Platinum Chip at the start of Fallout: New Vegas. Ulysses promises the answer as to why he didn’t take the job, but only if you make one last journey into the hurricane-swept canyons of the Divide, a landscape torn apart by earthquakes and violent storms. It’s up to you whether you take the job or not.”

Bethesda has released a new video for Lonesome Road, the upcoming DLC for Fallout: New Vegas. The DLC will run you $9.99/800 MSP and will put you in contact with Courier Six, who will ask you to go into the Divide and provide you with a reason why he refused to deliver the package at the start of the game. It will be released on September 20 on Xbox 360, and later on PC and PS3.
