Although the Microsoft-owned Lionhead is keeping quiet about Peter Molyneux’s departure, ex-staffers have assured fans the Fable franchise is in no danger.

Fable III PC demo never planned for release, listing was a misunderstanding

Fable III dev diary discusses changes made in order for it to work on PC
Lionhead has released a Fable III developer diary in which the studio chats about the various changes made in order for it to work on PC, which included a rewrite of the control system, the addition of 3D support and more. Fable III is slated for release on PC May 17, and is up for pre-order on Steam. Thanks, BigDownload.

Fable III for PC is not “a half-done port” – lovely new shots
Following a sudden screen-release after a long period in the shadows, the PC version of Fable III is apparently back, with a developer assuring you’re not looking at some half-arsed conversion.

Fable 3 dated for October 26 – E3 trailer released
Peter Molyneux has just revealed at Microsoft’s E3 press conference that Fable 3 will be released exclusively to Xbox 360 on October 26th.
A new trailer was also shown during the show, and it was rather awesome.
